The wines> La Pujada
With the 2014 Pujada, Saó del Coster finished in the top three finalists for best Spanish wine by the Penin guide. Before that, the 2009 received 94 points from Parker. It is hard to imagine that such wines can be produced in this vertical scree where only thistles and wild fennel should grow. Every spring, the miracle works. Vines left for dead in autumn emerge with new buds, a pied-de-nez to this hostile nature and extreme weather conditions.

Harvest
This is the last parcel of the estate to be harvested. By hand, early in the morning, in 9 kg boxes. The grapes are immediately taken to the cellar, where they are sorted grain by grain.
Vinification
The whole grains are pre-macerated in the cold for two days. Fermentation and maceration will take place at a temperature not exceeding 28 degrees. We use indigenous yeasts! The must remains in 500 litre stainless steel tanks until malolactic fermentation and then goes into selected barrels.

Steep slope of crushed slate rich in iron and mica, but very poor in organic matter.
