Naturally sweet black Grenache aged in barrels

A vat of Grenache with too much residual sugar after fermentation to bottle it. So we decided to put it in barrels for a few years to see it evolve.

Sometimes we make a mistake and the result is disastrous, other times we witness a small miracle. We had brought in a grape that was too ripe and our yeasts did not manage to transform all the sugar. With a magnificent fruit, but too much residual sugar, we tried to put it in barrels as it was, the result exceeded our expectations. A wine that goes wonderfully with all cheeses, chocolate desserts and strawberries.
